The VRC St Leger (3YO-LR SWP) is a horse race for three year olds at the ultimate distance of 2800m (a mile and three quarters). The race is held on ANZAC Day at Flemington Racecourse. First run in 1857 over 14 furlongs, 132 yards the St. Leger was a Group 3 event until 2006.
