Vrútky (German: Ruttek (rare); Hungarian: Ruttka) is a town in northern Slovakia, 3 km north of Martin. It lies at the confluence of the Váh and Turiec rivers, in the Turčianska kotlina near the Lesser Fatra. It has an important railway hub.
