Vow Wow

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vow Wow was a famous hard rock band from Japan founded in 1975, the band is credited with being one of the first to start the "80's" rock sound, inspiring many musicians of that era. Vocalist Genki Hitomi is famous for his singing style and powerful voice. However guitarist Kyoji Yamamoto led the band. In the late 1980s the group relocated for a time to the UK, recruited former Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray and received coverage on the Friday Rock Show for which they produced a number of distinctive jingles.
