[edit] Sri Deep Narayan Mahaprabhuji
Unverified since September; age claim is likely false; oldest person who lived was 122 (see supercentenarian). Peter O. (Talk, automation script) 05:55, Dec 24, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Of course the age claim is bogus, but a wrong fact isn't reason to delete. Let it be eventually fixed. Dbenbenn 01:24, 25 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I had inserted the word "allegedly" before the age of 135 years in Oct. I now inserted the link longevity myths. Hope that is okay. Andries 06:32, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Dan100 10:27, Dec 24, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Forget the longevity and the apotheosis: The article is almost entirely the teachings of. Without context, without a real establishment of the importance of the figure, this is proselytizing. If this spiritual leader was a worldwide leader, a sectarian, etc., then the article needs to establish that and then summarize the teaching rather than give us (and who are we supposed to be, disciples?) a list of the Way. - Delete. Less than 300 hits. Hits give longer text to people like this than Gandhi? Notability not established. Noble? Maybe. Notable? Doesn't seem so. And yes, notability is a deletion criteria--see #17 Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#What_Wikipedia_articles_are_not. Niteowlneils 16:50, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, of course. Do not delete articles on significant religious figures. That's bordering on offensive. Everyking 17:31, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, but the PoV needs a serious haircut. Wyss 00:56, 25 Dec 2004 (UTC)

- Strong Delete. I am an Indian and I don't think this person needs a mention in Wikipedia. I would strongly recommend that other articles on swamis and yogis by User:Mansukram be deleted. Don't vote keep, simply because they are well-written or non-stub. Ask some Indians (Wikipedia:Indian wikipedians' notice board, Wikipedia:Wikipedians/India); they know that these yogis are not really notable. utcursch 12:05, Dec 28, 2004 (UTC)
