Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Sekants Time

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Unnotable; two Google hits. This may have been VFD'd before, as someone did try adding the VFD header (before the creator removed it). -- Grunt (talk) 14:53, 2004 Aug 20 (UTC)

  • Delete. I was trying to put this on VfD simultaneously. Actually, I was trying to clean up its tortured prose first, but then when I googled for more information I found how fruitless my cleanup efforts would be - it's completely insignificant. RSpeer 14:57, Aug 20, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, unless supplied with a high quality reference of significance. Both google hits are Wikipedia mirrors. One of them even has mirrored the vfd message by now [1]. Andris 15:02, Aug 20, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete it in a New York sekant. (Original research.) Geogre 15:05, 20 Aug 2004
  • Do Not Delete, I would like to see examples of prose written by RSpeer in German.Metric Time 18:56, 20 Aug 2004 ( actually User:81.225.211.117)
    • What is your point? Plus please log in a and create an account with that name so we can talk more easily. [[User:Theresa knott|Image:Theresa Knott Sig.gif]] 17:00, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • It can often be a challenge to write prose in a second language (this was the only point) Metrische Zeit 18:44, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 17:09, Aug 20, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. And I would like to see poetry written by Rspeer in Urdu. :-D Elf-friend 23:01, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, unless convincing evidence is provided that the system is in use to a significant degree, and that futurist D.A. is notable (only eleven Google hits, about half of which are to a musical instrument maker). This has a very close resemblance to material on the pandecimal metric system that was removed from Decimal time by Dablaze and moved to Talk:Decimal time. • Undecided/Comment: We have esoteric programming languages, why not mention esoteric time systems? Kim Bruning 18:07, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • It's not really procedure, but ok, I'll second the proposal, and let's see how folks vote on that. You will need to sign your post though! Kim Bruning 18:28, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • I tried searching the metrologia database at [2]. No luck I'm afraid, maybe I'm looking for the wrong terms? Kim Bruning 18:36, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Before talking about extending the VfD discussion period I would like evidence that D.A. is the published author, by a non-vanity press, of a book" Sekants Time has only been on VfD for a couple of days and deletion is several days away. I ask Metrische Zeit to provide us the ISBN number, the exact title of the book, and the year and country in which the copyright was registered. Is there a reason why it would be difficult to do this within the next couple of days? [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 19:06, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I contacted Wikipedia a year ago to have this copyright protected material removed, which was posted here without my persmission. My copyright protected material is Not to be posted anywhere on this site. furtherfore, neither my name nor personal information is to be posted on this site. nor anything relating to myself in any way shape or form. One sentence, in apparent violation of WP:NLT, has been removed here. The IP who posted it is welcome to replace this annotation with any clearer statement that is consistent with that policy. In that case, they should add "~~~ 02:34, 30 January 2006 & ~~~~~" in place of the "unsigned" notation at the end of this paragraph, to properly document both of their edits. Thank You! D.A. 30 January 2006. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.225.195.17 (talkcontribs) 02:34, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
