Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Niklas Modigh

No Google hits at all for either "Niklas Modigh" nor any of his alleged works - I'm by no means an expert on early Swedish literature, but I couldn't find any confirmation he existed -- Ferkelparade π 14:09, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Not an expert on Swedish literature myself, but I can provide literal translations of the titles of the works he allegedly wrote:
  1. "Pappersbruket och kameleonten" == The Papermill and the Chameleon
  2. "Måshandlarens faster" == The Aunt of the Seagull Salesman
  3. "Psalmboken" == The Psalm Book
The first Swedish psalm book was published in 1695. Papermills were probably quite uncommon in Sweden before the renaissance (correct me if I'm wrong). Chameleons have never been part of the Swedish fauna, either. There are a lot of seagulls here, but I've never heard of anyone trading in them. Patent nonsense, I'd say. • Niklas and especially Modigh are typically modern Swedish names, as out of place in the 14th century as tubercolosis. Delete. --Bishonen 17:43, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
