Vanity page for non-notable author: the sole contribution of User:KamRuble. —Stormie 07:03, Sep 22, 2004 (UTC)

  • Comment: Publisher (Global Authors Publications) is a vanity press --Rlandmann 07:20, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • Aha, thought so, I didn't have any luck finding them with Google though - they might want to work on their search engine optimization a bit. —Stormie 08:55, Sep 22, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Not at all a good sign to write "Passing the 'authoring pen' to his wife and award-wining poet, Kam has" when Kam is supposed to be the wife. Vanity entry and vanity press, and we should HAVE NO MERCY about the delete. Geogre 12:53, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • If the author comes back, move it to a user page. If not, delete vanity. Rossami 14:26, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Advert for a series of books published by a vanity press. The lack of notability is overwhelming. Average Earthman 14:29, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. So unnotable it's zzzzz... Katherine Shaw 15:05, Sep 22, 2004 (UTC)

  • Hasn't occasional vanity been placed on the user's page instead of deleting? Perhaps a more regular VfD member could confirm. Abstain.--Rossumcapek 03:40, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)
