Doesn't seem encyclopedic to me. Darksun 20:05, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Saw that coming, again. Despite the, er, unconventional name of the article the phrase is in actual use, and considering that we have pages devoted to sexual slang... and if it's not suitably wikified, then my apologies, please wikify it and the problem's over. -- Kizor 20:23, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: The phrase is in use, but not as a stable meme, in my opinion, and not as a notable one. It's a simple case of catechresis -- a stale, dead metaphor that was once a witticism and is now as void of meaning as "plowing through the room" is. Geogre 21:19, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Dicdef. Doesn't seem enough to stand on it's own. My first inclination is to merge and redirect into something else... but what? Where would it fit? Otherwise, delete. Kevyn 21:20, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • I've heard that the term was used by a founder of an organization such as Mensa to complain that while its original purpose was to bring highly intelligent people together to solve the world's problems, etc., instead most members were just using it to socialize, solve puzzles and play games. In this context it would mean the idea of using ones intellect and talents for activities that are amusing and pass the time but aren't really productive in any way. The appropriate topic in that case would be something about how and why people would use their talent and intellect to entertain themselves rather than for tasks more seemingly meaningful and creative. --Intelligentsia 18:58, 28 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Can't be anything more than a dictdef. The term explains itself, really. Transwiki to wiktionary would be generous. Gwalla | Talk 22:32, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • I see no possibility of expanding past the definition. Delete. I don't even think Wiktionary would want this one. Rossami 03:07, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Someone should whack this off Wikipedia. Dukeofomnium 15:20, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
