[edit] Easier high mountains to climb
I don't think this article deserves to exist, as it is very subjective and POV. Easier by what standards? People have died attempting Mount Kilimanjaro. For many experienced mountaineers, these would be easy climbs but that still doesn't mean that hazards involved in climbing mountains should be so easily dismissed by adding the easier attribute. People have died falling off hiking trails. The original author followed up on the talk page, more or less agreeing with my original comments in August on this article. If the decision is made to delete, please notify me and I will take care of fixing the referring pages. RedWolf 05:25, Sep 25, 2004 (UTC)
- I'd suggest perhaps merging this into an article on Mountain climbs by difficulty or something of the sort. --Slowking Man 09:27, Sep 25, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Inherently POV. — Gwalla | Talk 21:11, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Comment - not necessarily POV. Mountaineers grade climbs by difficulty, according to a number of different scales in use around the world. I don't know whether Wikipedia needs this article, but it's definitely salvageable. --Rlandmann 01:24, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. I don't think it's so POV, but I also don't think it's encyclopedic. --Improv 06:41, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)
