  • Googling '"Donald Gaffney" IBM"' suggests that this person is real but not notable. - TB 08:48, Aug 16, 2004 (UTC)n ask
  • Delete. The author has included the article in List of electrical engineers and List of people by name: Ga-Gd ("Great IBM engineer"), but googling the person with terms like 'toaster oven', 'IBM' or 'General Electric Corporation' doesn't produce any noticable results. The author doesn't have a user account either (article was created by IP edits), where we can discuss the article with him/her. utcursch, Aug 6 2004
  • Delete. Reads like a personal page. Andris 12:56, Aug 16, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: The article seems like a retirement tribute. No evidence of notability is offered in the article. Also, though, it has "our company" in it, suggesting an internal sources. Geogre 13:04, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: If anything, original research. Maybe he did invent the toaster-oven, but we need corroboration. Also remove links on other pages. --Golbez 21:31, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
