Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Blood Code
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A cheat code for the Mortal Kombat video game. Hardly article-worthy. If we had a separate article for every video game cheat code, it would be chaos! This info belongs in the Mortal Kombat article if anywhere. Livajo 19:26, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Non-encyclopedic, even if it IS probably the most famous code in game history. Terrapin 19:40, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Not counting the Komani Code of course. -Sean Curtin 03:39, Aug 25, 2004 (UTC)

- Delete. Doesn't need it's own article. Information should probably be incorporated into Mortal Kombat, since this really was well-known. Isomorphic 21:30, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. I was going to say merge/redirect to Mortal Kombat (only because merge/delete isn't a valid vote), but the only thing this article says that isn't already in the MK article is the code itself, which doesn't belong in an encyclopedia. GameFAQs, yes; Wikipedia, no. — Gwalla | Talk 22:08, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete it a lot, and drop a stern note on the user. History shows that the contributor was in doubts about whether the article was valid or not. I think a stern but welcoming note would help. Geogre 01:02, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, but add mention in the Mortal Kombat article itself. -Sean Curtin 03:39, Aug 25, 2004 (UTC)
- Merge/Redirect to Cheat code --- Mortal Kombat does not give the cheat code. Cheat code gives what the code is. Cheat code will need subheadings by game title or game type. A comparable adult site is Topics in cryptography. If it is worthwhile for a kid to grow into an expert in Topics in cryptography, then we should somehow encourage this contributor to grow into an adult "format," n'est-ce pas? :))) ---Rednblu 17:36, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Take it away and dispose of it. This hasno place in the wiki. Saint will 21:42, 28 Aug 2004 (UTC)
