Volkspark Mariendorf

The Volkspark Mariendorf is appropriate for local part Mariendorf in Berlin Tempelhof, and is 1924 built. There is a small hill, a well with bronze child figures and 3 lakes (Eckernpfuhl, Bluehmelteich, Karpfenpfuhl). In addition there is a rose garden in the summer. From 3-5 June 2006 a play celebration for children and a "Rocktreff" take place, the largest amateur band competition in Berlin with laser show etc. in the Volksparkstadium.
