Volcano winery

One of two commercial wineries in the U.S. state of Hawaii, Volcano Winery is located on the Big Island of Hawaii in the town of Volcano, Hawai'i, at the base of the active shield volcano Kīlauea.

Volcano Winery was founded in 1986 by retired veterinarian Lynn “Doc” McKinney. The winery was sold in 1999 to Del Bothof, and the Bothof family still owns and runs the winery.

Symphony Dry: dry but fruity white wine produced from the Symphony grape

Symphony Mele: semi-sweet white wine produced from the Symphony grape, with taste similar to a Riesling

Volcano Red: unaged, fruity red wine made from red grapes and jaboticaba berries

Volcano Blush: off-dry rosé wine made from white grapes and jaboticaba berries

Hawaiian Guava: sweet, fruity wine made from white grapes and guava fruit with a distinctly nutty finish

Macadamia Nut Honey: light-bodied dessert wine fermented from the honey of macademia nut trees
