Vladimir Muravlev

Vladimir Muravlev (Russian: Владимир Муравлёв) is a Russian ballet dancer, born January 10, 1974 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

He is a grandson of Ural Tansykbayev, famous Soviet artist (People's Artist of the USSR).

He was trained at the Uzbekistan Academic Ballet School under the tutelage balletmaster Korkmas Sagatov. In 1993, Muravlev joined the Moscow Classical Ballet as a Principal dancer.

1996 - Count Almaviva in Dmitry Bryantsev's (famous russian balletmeister, the son of Alexander Bryantsev) "Bravo!Figaro" (based on Beaumarchais' Mariage de Figaro) ballet at The Moscow State Musical Theater named after Konstantin Stanislavsky and Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko (Moscow Stanislavsky Ballet);

1997 - Albrecht in "Giselle" (by Adolphe Adam) at The State Academic Alisher Navoi Opera & Ballet Theatre (Tashkent, Uzbekistan, dedicated to the 50-year anniversary of the Uzbek Academic Ballet School;

1998 - Prince in Derek Deane's "The Nutcracker"; Prince and Princes Friend in Michael Corder's "Cinderella" (on-stage partnership with Tamara Rojo) at the English National Ballet in London (United Kingdom);

2002 - Prince Siegfried in Irek Mukhamedov's (former Royal Ballet principal dancer) new production of "Swan Lake" at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera (Warsaw, Poland).
