Vladimir Kagan

Vladimir Kagan, (born in Germany, 1927), furniture designer. Emigrated to the United States in 1938, attended Columbia University where he studied architecture. Opened his first shop in New York in 1949. Early work included furniture for the Delegate's Cocktail Lounge at the United Nations and furniture for Monsanto's "House of the Future" at Disneyland. He is married to embroidery designer Erica Wilson. They have three children.[1]
