I saw your edits on Finland. Some of them were good like the links to Santa Claus, mämmi and Somali (although the last one should link to Somalia). But you also added some strange stuff about the finnish language beeing forbidden on Åland.. If I didn't know better I would say that you are a troll... Nice article about Mämmi though. -- Jniemenmaa 12:57 Apr 16, 2003 (UTC)
I can see that you are adding the acceding member countries of the European Union to the individual country pages. While I sympathise with your effort and welcome the new members, the accession to membership as such has not yet taken place (May 1, 2004!). Nevertheless, I still agree with you that the acceding members perhaps ought to be mentioned and I'm suggesting another version, which can be seen on the page for Sweden. -- Mic 07:55 May 3, 2003 (UTC)
Hi Vkem - I've removed your EU block from Ireland because that article is about the island rather than the state. You may want to add it to Republic of Ireland instead (and change the link in the block from "Ireland" to "Republic of Ireland" as well). Cheers--Camembert
Hello! Could you please commant on the articles on Aimo Cajander, Lauri Ingman and Väinö Tanner which you created? All of them seem to be total gibberish. Not also that the article on Aimo Cajander is almost a word for word translation of this page [1]
Did you write these yourself, or did you use machine translation? I am sorry, but the articles are just crap, and propably copyrighted by someone else (YLE in the above case). Jniemenmaa 12:56 May 3, 2003 (UTC)
- You also created Haltiatunturi which also seems to be gibberish.
Hi, In the article Italy Sweden got lost. Is there a reason for it? Fantasy 13:40 22 May 2003 (UTC)
- ok, problem solved, Thanks Fantasy
Hi Vkem, you need to set up a user page on Meta for your vote to count. It should have a link to your user page here, or redirect to it. Angela 00:19, 28 Sep 2003 (UTC)
Hi Vkem! Regarding your addition to Flash Airlines: what's your source for the claim that the e-mail got lost? Swiss Federal Office for Civil Administration claims in its press release that the findings of the inspections were entered in an international database, and that the head of the european plane inspection programme was informed by e-mail. (Unfortunately, the press release is not available in English.) Lupo 10:12, 6 Jan 2004 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I can't read Finnish... thanks anyway. But please don't change my user page! (Use my talk page instead.) Lupo 10:50, 6 Jan 2004 (UTC)
[edit] List of Nokia products
I noticed that in the list of Nokia products, you deleted the Nokia 6620. The Nokia 6620 article is now an orphan. If you deleted it by mistake, perhaps you would like to reinstate it again. —Vespristiano 01:44, 2004 Mar 27 (UTC)
[edit] Finland map
Thanks for uploading Image:Map of Finland.png. Did you make it yourself? I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use gfdl if you release it under the GFDL, or fairuse if you claim fair use, etc.) Thanks so much, – Quadell (talk) (help)[[]] 05:04, Oct 9, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Article Licensing
Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:
- Multi-Licensing FAQ - Lots of questions answered
- Multi-Licensing Guide
- Free the Rambot Articles Project
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
- Option 1
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
OR
- Option 2
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

- I notice you've put the PD tag on the image. Did you take the picture? If so, could you please make a note of that on the image description page, so it's clear where the image came from. If not, could you give information on the source, and why you think this is public domain, if it isn't otherwise clear. Thanks, Silverfish 12:29, 22 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Jyvaskyla.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Jyvaskyla.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hussein1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Hussein1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as fair use or article name, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Rebelguys2 talk 01:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
