Vizhnitz (Hasidic dynasty)

Vizhnitz or Vizhnitzer chasidim are a haredi group of Hasidic Jews, led by their rebbes ("Grand Rabbis") of the Hager family.

The head rabbis are also know as Admorim (Hebrew אדמור, which is the acronym for "אדונינו מורינו ורבינו" "Adonainu Morainu V'Rabainu", "Our master, Our teacher, and Our Rabbi"), who are located in Bnei Brak in Israel and Monsey, New York.
The Vizhnitzer Rebbe in Bnei Brak has two sons and four daughters. His daughters married famous Rabbis. One daughter married Rabbi Menachem Ernster, the Rosh Yeshiva of Vizhnitz Yeshiva in Bnei Brak. One daughter married Rabbi David Twersky, the Skverrer Rebbe from New Square, NY. One daughter married Rabbi Issachar Ber Rokeach, the Belzer Rebbe from Jerusalem. One daughter married Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum, the Satmar Rebbe from Kiryas Joel, NY.
His eldest son is Rabbi Yisroel. His younger son is Rabbi Menachem Mendel, the Av Beis Din of the Vizhnitzer congregation in Bnei Brak, and president of the Hisachdus Chasidei Vizhnitz (Union of Vizhnitzer Chassidim) - a newly formed offshoot member group.
A daughter of Rabbi Yisroel married the youngest son of his uncle - Rabbi Mordechai Hager. Another daughter married the second son of his brother-in-law - Rabbi David Twersky, the Skverrer Rebbe.
Grand Rabbi Eliezer Hager is the Seret-Vizhnitz Rebbe in Haifa, Israel, he is a first-cousin of the Rebbes of Bnei Brak and Monsey. He is the son of Rebbe Boruch Hager, zt"l, author of Mekor Baruch, who was the son of the Ahavas Yisroel. There is also a Shotz-Vizhnitz Rebbe in Haifa, E. Israel, a nephew of the Seret-Vizhnitzer Rebbe.
Grand Rebbe Shraga Feivish Hager, the Kosover Rebbe of Brooklyn follows many of the customs of Vizhnitz. His grandfather was a scion of the Vizhnitzer dynasty and brother of Rabbi Israel Hager, author of Ahavas Yisroel.
Grand Rebbe Shmuel Yaakov Kohn, the Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok Rebbe of Jerusalem was a student of the late Rebbe Chaim Meir of Vizhnitz, as well as the present Rebbe Moshe Yehoshua of Vizhnitz and has adopted many of the customs of Vizhnitz.
