Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro (born 1979) is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and mixed martial artist practioner (record: 18-1-0)[1]. He has fought in several promotions including Shooto Japan, Shooto Hawaii, Rumble on the Rock (Hawaii), Cage Rage (England), and the Abu Dhabi Combat Championship. Ribeiro recently signed with K-1 HERO'S.
The ex-welterweight was Shooto World and Cage Rage World Lightweight Champion. Ribeiro won the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship 4 times (first time as a purple belt in 1996, and three times as black belt in 1999, 2000 and 2001). He is considered one of the best lightweights in MMA.
He holds notable wins over Joachim Hansen, Tatsuya Kawajiri and Mitsuhiro Ishida.
