[edit] Overview

Based in Annapolis, Maryland, the studio is known as the world's first, dedicated teaching studio for new comic talent. It operates as a packaging studio, working with new talent to develop properties and concepts into actual projects, then works to place those projects at established publishers.

Visionary provides direction, editorial services, art review and supplementary creative services. Once a project is complete, the studio then also works to negotiate publishing and licensing deals on the properties and once set, provides marketing and publicity services for those same projects.

[edit] The Visionary Universe

Visionary also has a line of studio owned books in development which are under the imprint of the 'Visionary Universe'. The Visionary Universe is the shared fictional setting of the intellectual properties owned by Visionary Comics Studio, being developed for comics, prose and other media.

The Visionary Universe, primarily created by architect C. Edward Sellner, is a comprehensive line of intellectual properties of fictional nature, all of which are set within the same, structured, outlined framework, setting, or...universe.
