Vision Racing, LLC is owned and operated by Tony George and wife, Laura, along with actor Patrick Dempsey of ABC’s Grey's Anatomy. It was founded in 2005 when George purchased the assets of the defunct Kelley Racing team. The team is based in Indianapolis in a 32,000 square foot facility. Vision Racing competes full-time in the 17-race IndyCar Series, and for the first time, in 2007 the team participated in the 24 Hours of Daytona at the Daytona International Speedway.

Entering its third season of IndyCar competition, the team is coming off 15 top-ten finishes, three top-five finishes and a third place finish in 2006. The team features returning drivers Ed Carpenter and Tomas Scheckter who are joined by A. J. Foyt IV, who is new to the team and returning to the IndyCar series after a year's absence.
