Viscount Maynard
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The title Baron Maynard was created in 1620 in the Peerage of Ireland and again in 1628, in the Peerage of England. In 1766, the sixth baron was created Viscount Maynard and Baron Maynard again, both in the Peerage of Great Britain. On his death in 1775, the baronies became extinct, whilst the viscountcy passed to his kinsman, Sir Charles Maynard, Bt. The title became extinct upon the death of the third viscount in 1865.
