Viscount Bayning

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Viscount Bayning, of Sudbury, was a title created for the 1st Baron Bayning on 8 March 1628. The 1st Viscount had previously been created Baron Bayning, of Horkesley, on 27 February 1628. He had been created a baronet, of Bentley Parva, Esssex, on 24 September 1611 in the Baronetage of England.

On the death of the 2nd Viscount both titles and the baronetcy became extinct. However, in 1674 Anne Murray, daughter of the 1st Viscount and sister of the 2nd Viscount, was created Viscountess Bayning for life.
