Virus is an album that was released on September 19, 2005 by death metal band Hypocrisy. This is the first album Hypocrisy recorded with their new drummer, Horgh, from the black metal band Immortal. Virus is ParanoiDave acclaimed best metal album of 2005

Early pressings of the CD came with a 12 song live DVD, recorded in Strasbourg on Hypocrisy's 2004 tour as support of Cannibal Corpse, they also present a 12th track "Watch Out" which appears to be a demo of a song recorded in 2000 and push the length of this record to 48:03.
Some early pressings have an error on tracks 6-11 (Scratching sounds). Nuclear Blast has stated they will mail a replacement disc to anyone who has one of these glitched discs. See Hypocrisy's official website for more details.
