  • Virtex is a series of FPGAs produced by Xilinx. As of 2006 the top of the line Virtex FPGA is Virtex-5, which was announced in May 2006. It provides up to 330,000 logic cells and 1.200 I/O pins. Virtex-5 is the last FPGA to be built in 65nm process.
