Virginio Ferrari (born October 19, 1952) is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He finished second to Kenny Roberts in the 1979 500cc world championship. He also contested a few World Superbike races in the late 80s, and ran the Ducati team which took Carl Fogarty to the 1994 and 1995 World Superbike titles. 1998 was his last year running a factory team - Davide Tardozzi took Fogarty to the title and his team took over for 1999 (winning the title again).
