Virginia Ogilvy, Countess of Airlie

Virginia Fortune Ryan Ogilvy, Countess of Airlie, DCVO (9 February 1933) is a Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Elizabeth II. She is the daughter of John Barry Ryan and Margaret Kahn. On 23 October 1952, she married David Ogilvy, who in 1968 became Earl of Airlie. As a Lady of the Bedchamber, she is one of the Queen's senior Ladies-in-Waiting, and attends the Queen on major occasions and overseas tours. She has been a Lady of the Bedchamber since 1973. She was appointed a Dame Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in 1995.
She and the Earl have six children.
