The Virginia Law Weekly is a weekly newspaper published by students at the University of Virginia School of Law each Friday of the school year, excluding breaks and exam periods. In 2006, The Law Weekly was awarded Best Newspaper by the Law Student Division of The American Bar Association. [1]

It was first printed in 1948 and has been cited in several court opinions, including the Supreme Court, Patterson v. New York (1977), the Fifth Circuit, Thermo King v. White's Trucking Service, 292 F.2d 668 (5th Cir. 1961), and numerous state courts since its founding.

John Kabealo, a third-year law student from Dublin, Ohio, is the current Editor-in-Chief.
