Virgil Howe is a British musician.
Virgil is the second son of guitarist Steve Howe (of Yes). Along side his brother, drummer Dylan Howe, he has played keyboards for a number of his father's projects, including the Steve Howe solo albums The Grand Scheme of Things (1993) and Spectrum (2005), as well as in Steve Howe's Remedy (2003 album Elements and supporting tour and DVD).
Under the name The Verge, Virgil Howe produced the Yes Remixes album, released 2003. [1] He has also DJ'd.
Virgil drums and sings in his own band, The Dirty Feel, with Kerim 'Kez' Gunes (bass, vocals) and Nick Hersch (guitar, vocals). A debut single, "Get Down and Love in", had a limited UK release in 2004. They are signed to DirtE. In 2005, the band took part in MTV's A-Cut amateur band competition.
Session work includes drumming on the Pet Shop Boys' album Fundamental.
