[edit] ThinkPink
What evidence to connect 195.7.55.146 to ThinkPink? Jewbacca 11:53, Dec 23, 2004 (UTC)
- Please note, since there is no "confirmed" tag next to the name, so the connection is hypothetical at this time. However, the evidence connecting 195.7.55.146 to ThinkPink is based on a few things: After the user created the ThinkPink account, the first page it edited was Current events, one of the things user 195.7.55.146 loves to do on a regular basis (see contribs). Even more interesting, was the edit summary:
-
- ThinkPink 15:40, 3 Dec 2004 Current events (→December 3 2004 - Deleted non-newsworthy item)
- Coincidentally, the distinction between what is newsworthy and what is not newsworthy on the Current events page, and the determination thereof seems to be a popular hobby of user 195.7.55.146. A few samples:
-
- 195.7.55.146 14:23, 1 Oct 2004 October 2004 (→October 1, 2004 - Would you like to discuss why it is not news before you delete it?)
- 195.7.55.146 14:05, 2 Sep 2004 September 2004 (→September 2, 2004 - The school is the most significant piece of world news right now, and these are two sperate major events)
- There is also the obsession with determining "fact":
- ThinkPink 05:10, 20 Dec 2004 Talk:Bernard Lewis (Facts are for encyclopedias, assumptions are not)
- 195.7.55.146 17:31, 11 Nov 2004 Yasser Arafat (Because it's not a "fact", it's a complex issue which deserves a paragraph of it's own, Can you make a paragraph about it please?)
- And, there is the shared affinity for editing the Al-Aqsa Intifada article. These could all very well be coincidences. However, when you add the edit history of Irishpunktom, who happens to use 195.7.55.146 as a sock puppet, the coincidences stack up. Irishpunktom edits Arab-Israeli conflict, as does ThinkPink; all three enjoy editing the Current events page. Perhaps, these too are all coincidences. What I need to do is analyze their comments on talk pages. --Viriditas | Talk 13:07, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Pravda
Note Pravda's first edit on Rachel Corrie is essentially identical to HistoryBuffEr's most recent POV re-write [1]. Jayjg 00:39, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Goldberg
Are you sure the Goldbergs and FamilyFords are in the chain? They're obviously sockpuppets and related to each other, but are they Alberuni? I've never been as sure about them. Jayjg | (Talk) 03:10, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm fairly certain they are in the chain. See the relationship between Goldberg and Alberuni in the Thug section. See this link for the relationship between Goldberg and FamilyFord car4less. Both users are obsessed with SlimVirgin, and both users make the same accusations accusing Jewbacca and SlimVirgin of being puppets/vandals. It's clear that Goldberg and FamilyFord car4less are the same poster. --Viriditas | Talk 08:47, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)
