Thomas Berry in his book The Great Work suggests the next era would best be labeled ecozoic [1]. "The Ecozoic is the period when human conduct will be guided by the ideal of an integral earth community, a period when humans will be present upon the Earth in a mutually enhancing manner." Viriditas infuses the human as well and its motive power is towards the emergence of an ecozoic consciousness.
