Присвячена 100-річчю від дня народження українського балетмейстера, народного артиста СРСР Павла Павловича Вірського, який зробив істотний внесок у розвиток танцю, збагативши його віртуозними хореографічними елементами. Балетмейстер Одеського, Дніпропетровського, Харківського та Київського театрів опери та балету, художній керівник (1955 – 1975) Ансамблю танцю УРСР (з 1977 року – його імені). Вірський у своїй творчості утверджував принципи театралізації народного танцю, який органічно поєднував з класичним. В обігу з 21 лютого 2005 року. Номінал - 2 грн. English: Jubilee Coin "Pavlo Virsky" The coin is dedicated to 100th anniversary of Pavlo Virsky, a Ukrainian choreographer, people's artist of the USSR, who had made great contribution to the dancing development enriching it with masterly choreographic elements. Working as a choreographer of Odesa-, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Kyiv opera and ballet theatres and as an art director (1955 – 1975) of Ensemble of Dancing (since 1977 called after him), Virsky maintained in his creative work principles of folk dance adaptation for the stage and it was very organic combination with a classic dance. Denomination, 2 hryvnia. Metal - German silver.
