Vipera lotievi is a venomous viper species found in Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. No subspecies are currently recognized.[3]

Grows to a maximum length of 60 cm.[2]

The higher range of the Big Caucasus: Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. The type locality is listed as "Armkhi, Checheno-Ingushetia, Russia, below Mt. Stolovaya, 2000 m altitude."[1]
