Violet Berlin is a television presenter (and more recently a writer and producer) best known to many people for fronting the popular video gaming show Gamepad, which aired on the Bravo satellite channel from 2001 to 2004, barring repeats.
The show, produced with her partner Gareth Jones under the company name Whizzbang TV ran for four series. Before this, Violet had a huge breadth of experience presenting on many terrestrial shows such as WildBunch, Saturday Disney, Big Bang, Bad Influence! and Bits & Bytes. Violet currently lives in Stoke Newington with Jones and their two sons.
Violet also had cameos as a playble character in the 1994 Codemasters racing videogame, Micro Machines 2, for the Sega Mega Drive, its sequel Micro Machines 96, and as a non-player character in Gabriel Knight 2.[1]
