Vinegar Joe was a British R&B band in the early 1970s. The lead singers were Elkie Brooks and Robert Palmer. Mike Deacon sang also and played keyboard. They released three records:

  • Vinegar Joe (1972)
  • Rock'n Roll Gypsies (1972)
  • Six Star General (1973)

The band broke up in 1974.
