Vinegar Hill, Ontario

Vinegar Hill is a small community in Markham, Ontario and located along Highway 48 and Highway 407 (Ontario). The community is located just south of the historic village of Markham, but little remains of the history of its past.

Some of the old homes along Highway 48 are either abandoned or near collapse. The small bridge with 2 lanes of traffic traverse over the Rouge River.

The south end of community near Highway 407 (Ontario) is now home to a new residential development.

Both Milne Park and the banks of the Rouge River are part of the Rouge Park system.
