Vinci, Italy

Vinci is a town and comune of Firenze province in the Italian region of Tuscany, at 26 m (85 ft) above sea level. The population was 13,900 according to the 2003 census. The area of the comune is 54 km².
The town is best known for its proximity to the birthplace of Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci.
