[edit] History

Vincent Vincent grew up in Hatch End a town in the London Borough of Harrow but later moved to East London and after leaving Art College decided to start a band. In 2003 he formed Vincent Vincent and the Villains and released a limited edition single on Smoking Gun Records in 2004 'On My Own'. With the band gaining local popularity they then released a double a-side on Young and Lost Club Records 'Blue Boy/ The Boy Who Killed Time.'both featuring then guitarist/vocalist Charlie Waller.

The Third single; 'I'm Alive' also released on Young and Lost Club Records in April 2006 introduced Vincent Vincent with a new set of villains, after his co-conspirator, Charlie Waller left after never commiting to the villains fully because of his ambitions for his own band; The Rumble Strips. This left Vincent Vincent with the Idea for the song;'Johnny Two Bands' the bands first major release. The melody for 'Johnny Two Bands' was originally used in the song 'Making Raindrops' however Vincent Vincent reworked the song by keeping the tune but changing the lyrics to tell the story of the break of the original Villains. The album is expected to be released on EMI in Spring 2007 although no release date has been confirmed.
