Vince Melamed

Vince Melamed is a keyboardist and songwriter who currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in New York, and moved to Los Angeles at an early age. Vince has appeared with many bands as keyboardist, appearing on the Eagles 1980's Live CD, and also on albums by Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffett, Dan Fogelberg, Bobby Womack, Rosanne Cash, J.D. Souther, Rita Coolidge and Danny O'Keefe.
Vince is a five time BMI millionaire recipient. Some of his recorded songs include: "Walkaway Joe" by Trisha Yearwood (with Don Henley), "What Mattered Most" by Ty Herndon, "Tell Me What You Dream" by Restless Heart as well as "I'll Take That As A Yes" Phil Vassar and "Too Cool To Fall In Love" Jill Sobule. Other artists who have recorded his songs include Buffett, Rosanne Cash, Cher, and John Anderson. He later formed the band Run C&W with Jim Photoglo, Russell Smith of the Amazing Rhythm of Aces and former Eagles bandmember Bernie Leadon. He most recently participated as a counselor for the 2005 Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp.
