in the Jnanpith page : "It is V. D. Karandikar, but in marathi the initials of the name club up to "VinDA" according to the pronounciation!". Is that so ? This article uses different initials. Tintin (talk) 13:33, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

I suppose Vinda is short for Govind and not an abbreviation of initials as he suggested. Tintin (talk) 13:35, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
