Villamar is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Medio Campidano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 45 km northwest of Cagliari and about 7 km northeast of Sanluri. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,912 and an area of 38.6 km2.[1]
Villamar borders the following municipalities: Furtei, Guasila, Las Plassas, Lunamatrona, Pauli Arbarei, Sanluri, Segariu, Villanovafranca.
