Villa Dolores

Villa Dolores, is a small city in the province of Cordoba, Argentina located in the southwestern side of the province. The city's population is approximately 31,000 inhabitants.
Although it is one of the smallest cities in Cordoba, many other provinces rely on Villa Dolores for its major export in potatoes. Wine consumption is also a large trait in this city having its own import route from the the capital city of wine in Argentina, Mendoza.

Tourism is a large part of the popularity of Villa Dolores with more than 500,000 tourists visiting Villa Dolores during its tourism high season (January - February). Tourist attractions in this city arent the usual from other places that are known for their theme parks, large monuments and historic backgrounds. Instead, Villa Dolores is famed for its peaceful environment with breathtaking views of the Cordoba mountain range. It is also known for its hidden rivers that run fresh water from the mountain tops. The most known location is "La Piedra Pintada". A small hidden river that brings the most fresh water from the mountains.

Night life in Villa Dolores is a quiet life during the week. There tends to be little to no movement in the city. Weekends become more lively when the city's youth gear towards the city's night clubs, restaurants and pubs/bars.
