Villa Alegre (television program)

Villa Alegre was a bilingual (Spanish/English) television show for children, produced in the United States. It ran on the PBS network, premiering in 1973 and running for several years thereafter. The show centered on life in a Mexican village.
The program had an upbeat, arguably catchy Spanish-flavored theme song, which ended with kids shouting "Villa Alegre!"
