Vilen Kalyuta

Vilen Kalyuta was an Armenian cinematographer. He was born on October 22, 1930 in Yerevan, Armenia. Kolouta worked on more than 50 movies during his 40 year career. Notable films by Vilen Kolouta are The White Bird Marked with Black, Flying Asleep and Awake, The Legend of Princess Olga, Urga, Burnt by the Sun and the last film he worked on A Friend of the Deceased. Vilen Kolouta died on November 3, 1999, in Kiev, Ukraine.
