Catalan web portal with daily news. It was born in May 1996 from a Catalan directory project named La Infopista. It includes a web directory, local editions, forums and other facilities. Vilaweb also hosts the digital version of the Catalan newspaper El Punt. This was founded and it's also presently managed by Vicent Partal.
