Viktor Shershunov

Viktor Shershunov (Russian: Виктор Андреевич Шершунов; born 16 October 1950 in Lenger) is the governor of Kostroma Oblast in Russia. He worked at the Prosecutor’s Office of Kostroma Oblast. He was elected in 1996 and 2000 with a large majority, in 2005 he was reappointed by Vladimir Putin. He is a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. He is a member of the Federation Soviet since 1997.
