Viktor Kostyrko

Viktor Ivanovich Kostyrko (born May 24, 1948 [1]) is the mayor of Tiraspol, the capital of Transnistria (an unrecognized state in Moldova). He was born in Tiraspol and is a native Transnistrian citizen. Originally elected in 1999, he has since been re-elected once.
Viktor Kostyrko is a political ally of Transnistria's president, Igor Smirnov.
