Vikramasingapuram or Vickramasingapuram is a panchayat town in Tirunelveli district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It falls under the Ambasamudram taluk.

Vikramasingapuram is located at 8.67° N 77.33° E^[1]. It has an average elevation of 200 metres (656 feet). It is situated 53 kms to the south of Tirunelveli and 9 kms from Ambasamudram. It is situated on the banks of river Thamirabarani.

As of 2001 India census^GRIndia, Vikramasingapuram had a population of 48,101. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Vikramasingapuram has an average literacy rate of 79%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 85%, and female literacy is 73%. In Vikramasingapuram, 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.

The town is surrounded by green paddy fields. A considerable number of the population in Vickramasingapuram works for Madura coats, a fabric production company.
