Detective Sergeant Vik Singh is a character from the long running ITV drama The Bill. DS Singh arrived at Sun Hill in November 2000 in the aftermath of the Don Beech Scandal. He finally left in April 2002 after he had hospitalised a suspect. DCI Jack Meadows learned of this and immediately suspended DS Singh pending a Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) investigation. DS Singh was not prepared to wait for the result of the inquiry, as he knew the probable outcome, and instead decided to resign with immediate effect. DS Singh now works as a taxi driver in the Greater London area.
