Vik is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway.

The name (Norse Vík) are identical with the word vík f 'inlet'.

The coat-of-arms is from modern times (1991). It shows three knives for the cutting of leaf. (Leaf was used as fodder for the animals.)

The Hopperstad stave church was built in Vik around 1140.
