[edit] Adopt-a-user program

Although I am not exactly new, I am not too experienced either. My edits have never been very comprehensive and I lack direction. I haven't spent much time creating/editing things either. In all these days I created only one article all by myself. I have realized that I need guidance to help me learn and ultimately become an Admin one day.

I have been adopted by SirFozzie under Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user program. My insatiable hunger for knowledge and attention, and inappropriately heavy demands for help have prompted me to request co-adoption. I need someone, along with my current adopter (who has been very nice to me), who can give me more time, help me gain a wider field of knowledge on Wikipedia, teach me with a planned approach, take interest in, and help me improve my edits. Hope I am not asking too much! :)

I was an anonymous Wikipedian since Dec. 2004. Did minor edits (spelling corrections, verifying citations, etc.) apart from reading a lot. I was never involved in any major article creations, edits or deletions. I created an account for it's time to get into action. I wish to work more on Wikipedia than I've been doing and learn a lot more about creating and editing articles, Wiki Policies, etc. I didn't even know we had things like committees, barnstars and so many templates in Wikipedia before I read some of the User pages. I would like a cool user page myself. Please feel free to put your views, tips, curses and love on my talk page. I need to learn a lot and need help of my fellow Wikipedians. Cheers!

Currently I am working on improving Wikipedia quality, like Typo-correcting articles. This is a cool job. Tiring for sure, because I am doing it manually with only Fire-fox spell-checker to assist me, but rewarding. One thing I found is, if you can search and find an article with a particular typo, most of the time it will contain many others. In this way you can completely copy-edit (wish I got the term right) an article for spelling.
